CHALLENGE

When you're in the IT business for 20 years things tend to change a lot. Synapse, originally a Juniper reseller and network security firm has changed. Today, they've evolved into a full-service strategic IT consulting business with a wide range of services including cloud solutions, wireless and systems administration. Now, add to that an unmatched focus on customer service, a modern team and a little Northside Chicago personality to get work that really matters. Unfortunately, nobody knew this.

SOLUTION

We crafted a new brand position, identity and messaging strategy that told the real Synapse story. You know, the one that so many of their customers already knew. Then we brought it to life online. It's quirky, modern and fresh. Plus it has all the personality without the IT attitude.

APPROACH

Like usual, we worked together with the Synapse team and their customers though a mix of stakeholder interviews, strategic work-sessions, brand positioning exercise and craft beers to craft a visual brief, brand persona and design system. We did a lots of listening, made some simple edits and tuned up the volume where necessary.

CONCLUSION

Synapse now has a brand that reflects who they are and what they do everyday. And there's nothing like this in the IT space.
