Venture Capital is an incredibly complex business. There's a mix of players, structures and approaches to the space that are very confusing to investors. Most people don’t even know where to start. VCapital, a long-standing Chicago-based venture capital firm had a different (and better) solution- Simplify the investment process. They needed a brand messaging and identity as unique as their business and different (and unique) as their people.
SOLUTION
We crafted a new messaging strategy, extended the brand and developed a new modern website. Prior to that, to keep the business moving we crafted VCapitalPOV, a thought leadership platform. And, with covid living among us, risking the benefits of quarantine simply wasn't worth taking the typical employee headshots for VCapital’s newly updated and strategically designed site. Instead, we created a series of original illustrations.

APPROACH
We know what investors want, VCapital has it. The it: Institutional grade investments with boutique customization options. Communicating VCapital’s it-factor meant making the site faster, making the service easy to understand and making the brand modern and clear.
VCapital now has a simple and intuitive navigation system, making investor’s jobs easier. They are a people first company, caring about their employees and their clients. We communicated that through making their website comprehensive, venture capital for everyone. The power of the simple offerings is it results in easy transactions and happy investors.
As for the profiles, they were each hand drawn and flowed perfectly with VCapital’s brand. The result? A perfectly curated site.
CONCLUSION
The launch of the new site has effectively resulted in the elevation of VCapital as a brand leading to initial investor acquisition. It's also helped bring in a few new investors. VCapital has exciting things ahead of them and their site articulates that perfectly.
