CHALLENGE
Joy of Mom has been bringing millions of moms all over the world together to do more for years on Facebook. Although the platform is free, it comes at the expense of the community's data. It's feature set is also limited to what Facebook needs to make money, not what moms need to make an impact. It's time to move on.
SOLUTION
As part of that evolution away from Facebook, we wanted to learn how(and help) moms find and interact with other moms. We designed and built the first Mom Map: A beta application that allows Mom's all over the world to share some information about themselves and connect one-on-one with other like-minded moms privately. Moms can now find other moms with similar interests around the globe.

APPROACH
We worked fast and collaboratively in Figma with the Joy of Mom team to create a prototype app in just a few weeks. Then we built out a communications plan and assets in Hubspot to gather data from the community.
CONCLUSION
This is only the beginning. We have hundreds of Moms using the app now, making connections and defining the next set of features with us. We're excited to see where this goes.
