Miriam Choi joins Geletka+

CHICAGO (May 18, 2021) – Geletka+, Chicago’s fast-growing collaborative creative agency, today announced Miriam Choi has joined the team as a Junior Designer. Miriam comes to Geletka+ from the University of Texas where they recently finished their bachelors in arts, technology and emerging communications. Through their time as an undergrad, Choi was able to build an impressive design portfolio and was a MAIP design fellow. MAIP is a multicultural advertising internship program where Miriam worked on empowering queer and trans people of color.

“Miriam’s raw talent and rich background brings the perspective we need to grow and push our work forward faster” said John Geletka, Founder and Chief Experience Officer of Geletka+. “We can’t wait to see what Miriam accomplishes.”

“As a queer, agender, second-generation Korean-American, my mission is to expand representation through the power of story and design.” said Choi. “I’m excited to join the team and push awesome, impactful work.”

We’re excited to have Choi on the team and confident they’ll take our work even further with our clients.

Miriam, welcome to the team!

About Geletka+
Geletka+ is a Chicago-based, creative-driven collaboration agency with a focus on new and emerging methods of delivering experiences across channels to build brands, empower consumers, and create art that doesn’t waste people’s time. We’re not throwing away the traditional agency model, but we’re working to make it a little better by removing layers of process, being open about partners, and using data as a tool, not CYA. Geletka+ makes content, experiences, films, poems, books, stories and digital products together with our clients and partners. We work with brands that believe in great design and value outcomes over billable hours. Learn more at
