Olam Specialty Coffee connects roasters to the finest green coffees in the world. With thousands of global coffees, a cohesive sampling program with strong packaging is critical to the sales cycle. It's something that seems simple, but incredibly difficult to do right. The experience from discovery to sample to purchase matters.
SOLUTION
We reimagined Olam Specialty Coffee's packaging and sampling program from the bean up, designing a clean new box, simple vented bags and custom inserts and sticker packs that make it easier for buyers to know what they're sampling and allow them to know what they need (and want) online. Plus, when these new bags sit with others on the table, everyone will know they're uniquely Olam.

APPROACH
G+ collaborated with the Olam team on a mix of concepts that not only looked great, but met the needs of the bean, the internal operations and the business. We explored bags, boxes, packages and all sorts of cool bean-transport methods, but ultimately went with a simple and classic box, that's designed as thoughtfully as the beans are sourced. Then we went to work prototyping and ultimately producing the sample package.
CONCLUSION
Olam Specialty Coffee's new packaging and sampling program stands up to the competition and it’s just the beginning of their commitment to a best-in-class experience in coffees.
